Technical Specification:

Clean Modules provided a full turnkey service, from design, enabling works and installation to sourcing and installing process equipment and facility validation. The modular cleanroom facility houses an EU GMP Grade B TPN aseptic suiteand EU GMP Grade B cytotoxic aseptic suites, with a Class III 4-glove Isolator in each aseptic suite, and an EU GMP Grade C preparation area.

To minimise interruption for the hospital, the entire facility as a whole was constructed off site, including fit-out and air system installation, then shipped by lorry to site. On site, Clean Modules only had to do the final hook-up of services, finish the connections between the two modules and complete commissioning and validation. This reduced work on site considerably, compared to traditional construction methods.

The facility was constructed within a hot-rolled steel structural frame. The internal walls and ceilings are set out with our modular panel installation method. Our cleanroom panels consist of PIR foam or a Rockwool structural core, pressure bonded to pre-stressed steel skins, allowing for higher insulation values, better fire ratings and stronger wall structures. The panels are finished with a smooth "foodsafe" hard PVC laminate cleanroom surface on the inside and a weather proof surface on the outside. As a result these panels function both as cleanroom wall and external wall at the same time. In combination with the modular cleanroom concept, newly constructed modular cleanrooms benefit from considerable cost reductions compared to traditional constructed cleanrooms.
